I was asked by the wonderful folks at Amsterdam Dance Event this year to submit a recipe for their special 2016 Black Book. As my Mom is the best chef I know, I decided to submit one of my favorite things that she's always made for us.
Food - if executed with care and love - should trigger instant emotions or memories and the mere smell of her dishes takes me back to my youth.
