A good up close and personal shot by Lenny Conroy last night. Tonight is the final show of our sold out 3 night run in my hometown of Port St Mary. I can't describe the feeling of coming home to play for you all, or the feeling you have given by supporting me - not only for these town hall shows in recent history - but for many of you, since I was a kid playing in the pubs on the island. Without that, I wouldn't be as fortunate as I am to be playing music for a career all over the world. With this being said - there are some tremendous young musicians on the Isle Of Man right now who deserve that same overwhelming support just as much, if not more, than I. Mae Challis (who's been opening these shows this year), Fraser and Callum Rowe, Hamish Faragher immediately come to mind - although there are many more. Support live music. More than that though. Support future live music. Our lives, and our children's lives will be richer for it.
